Over 70% of UK local authorities have declared a climate emergency, demonstrating the increasingly significant impacts of climate change. The latest issue of the UK Resilience Lessons Digest, ‘Learning to Adapt’, focuses on the urgent need for climate adaptation actions alongside mitigation efforts. The issue synthesises 278 findings from 12 reports, highlighting transferable lessons across five themes with practical takeaways for climate adaptation. The issue presents a range of case studies from applied research, climate science insights, practical tools, and academic perspectives, emphasising that solutions to climate change are possible.
