The UK has published the world’s first global guidelines to ensure the safe development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. The guidelines have been developed by the UK National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), part of GCHQ, in partnership with the US’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), and in collaboration with industry and 21 other international agencies and ministries.

The Guidelines for secure AI system development aim to increase levels of cyber security for AI, ensuring secure design, development and deployment through the secure-by-design approach.
