The next UK Alliance for Disaster Reduction conference will take place on 26th – 27th June 2024 at University College London (UCL), hosted by the UCL Institute for Risk and Disaster Reduction. The conference aims to connect academics, practitioners, and funders interested in reducing disaster risks. The event will feature invited talks on successful collaborations in different sectors to encourage evidence-based policies, participant breakout sessions on improving collaborations and assisting practitioners in guiding research conversations, primary research and practitioner presentations, and flash talks from early career researchers and practitioners to share their current work, findings, and challenges.
