A new report has been published by Adaptation Without Borders exploring global transboundary climate risks. These are complex and cascading risks that cross geographical borders and affect overall global wellbeing.

The report presents 10 case studies of such risks in different sectors and regions, and argues that adaptation policies need to address them as a global responsibility. The report also suggests some ways to reframe climate risk, assess transboundary risks, and enhance cooperation on adaptation.
