The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies – IFRC Network have developed a Teen Preparedness Kit for 13–19-year-old students. The Teen Preparedness Kit has been specifically designed with students, for students and includes videos developed by teens for teens. This online resource contains interactive modules on disaster risk reduction, emergency planning, climate change, health, wellness and resilience, and leadership and future building. The resources are available in various languages and include several practical actions to support the online learning content. This is a practical, globally applicable resource developed and hosted by the IFRC Global Preparedness Centre, which has developed several other preparedness toolkits for differing themes and sectors. The Global Preparedness Centre also hosts several other resources, including the latest initiatives, the IFRC & British Red Cross enhanced vulnerability and capacity assessment and toolbox, alongside a thematic resource library, with case studies for learning and practice sharing.
