The Cabinet Office Emergency Planning College has a new research project to gain insight into the evolving needs of the resilience community in line with the UK Government Resilience Framework. The goal is to create a new training and skills program that will support and promote the professional development of individuals pursuing a career in resilience.

The research commences with a short survey to explore various aspects of learning requirements, existing capabilities, gaps in knowledge, skills, and behaviours, as well as preferred methods of training and exercising. The study aims to highlight what a resilience mindset entails, identify good practices and processes, improve pathways into the resilience community, and establish a national network of learning and knowledge sharing. All resilience specialists and individuals contributing their skills and time to building resilience are invited to participate in this research.
