The MYRIAD-EU project has published a new Research briefing, Revolutionising Multi-Hazard Risk Assessment: Innovative Methods for a Safer Tomorrow. The research briefing sets out several highlights from the research work, including a new comprehensive vulnerability database that enhances decision-making for targeted risk reduction, leveraging novel data sources for improved crisis response; and evidence-based insights for enhancing multi-hazard risk management and preparedness. Research recommendations include investing in data improvements, data standardisation, forensic analysis of root causes for vulnerability to inform policy and strategy promote preparedness.
