The Green Finance Institute’s Nature Programme has launched the UK Financial Institutions for Nature Group, which will support the delivery of investment into UK nature recovery, in turn supporting the Government in its broader goals towards an economic transition to a greener economy, based on the Dasgupta Review. The group – membership of which is open to any financial institution engaged in UK nature finance – will Identify barriers and support enhanced private sector investment, into climate mitigation and adaptation, through nature-based solutions, based on the 2023 Green Finance Strategy. It will also provide input and feedback on key government projects, including uptake of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures Framework.
