The Civil Service Policy Lab has recently launched a new initiative called the National Security Policy and Research CoLab (NSPARC/N*). This project aims to promote innovation, diverse thinking, and people-centred approaches to develop effective policies for national security aligned with the Integrated Review Refresh. N* will adopt a project-based approach and employ creative and unique methods to solve practical policy issues. The project will collaborate with colleagues in the national security sector and equip policymakers with the necessary tools and knowledge to experiment with these methods. The primary objective of NSPARC is to generate better-informed policies, leverage new technologies to enhance policymaking and ensure the best possible outcomes for citizens while promoting liberal democracy.
