The National Centre for Resilience (NCR) is pleased to announce a grant funding opportunity for short projects focused on enhancing community resilience to natural hazards across Scotland. We believe that building resilient communities is crucial to minimise the impact of natural hazards, protect lives, and promote sustainable development. This funding initiative aims to support innovative and impactful projects that empower communities to effectively respond to, adapt to, and recover from disasters and hazards.

Grant Details:

Funding Amount: up to £25K

Application Deadline: 30th June 2023

Project Duration: all applications must deliver on stated project objectives before 31st March 2024

Eligibility: Third Sector organisations, Category 1& 2 responders and any community group supporting communities to prepare for, respond to and recover from natural hazard events. Projects can have a localised element but must include a proposal for an across Scotland approach.
