The University of Gloucestershire has launched a new Centre For Whole of Society Resilience, with co-founders Professor Ruth Crick at Wild Learning and Prof Adeela Ahmed Shafi from the University of Gloucestershire. The new centre is intended to facilitate collaboration between silos throughout the whole of society, to build long-term adaptive capacity and reduce chronic stresses to build resilience in line with the UK government’s National Resilience Framework. The centre intends to facilitate transdisciplinary networking by bringing together leaders and decision-makers from across sectors to further research-led, evidence-based policy and practice.
