Director General of the National Crime Agency (NCA), Graeme Biggar gave his first public speech to mark the official launch of the National Strategic Assessment of serious and organised crime for 2023.

 

The Assessment covers the period from January to December 2022 and draws on intelligence and analysis from various law enforcement and partner organisations. The NSA aims to reduce the harm and impact of serious and organised crime (SOC) on the UK public, economy, and society, and to set out what the public can do to protect themselves from being victims or spotting and reporting suspicious activity.
