The UNDRR has published a guide for partners involved in the Making Cities Resilient 2030 program. The guide provides local authority members of the network with guidance on developing and implementing local disaster risk reduction strategies and plans aligned with national and regional strategies and plans. The guide includes information on various city and partner experiences, the methodology and tools used by cities, such as the resilience roadmap assessment dashboard and the Disaster Resilience Scorecard, the steps required to develop a resilience strategy, challenges regarding data sets, ideal time frame, areas of technical support, training and capacity-building needs, areas in which extra support is required post-programme, and priority functional areas in portfolio development.
