NHS England has recently announced that the London Ambulance Service will host the NHS Resilience Interoperable Capabilities Team for the next five years. The contract will commence in April 2024, taking over from former host West Midlands Ambulance Service. The NHS Resilience Interoperable Capabilities Team is responsible for ensuring specialist resilience teams across the country can provide urgent care during complex emergencies and major incidents arising from a range of hazardous events.
