The United States and the United Kingdom have announced a new collaboration for Strategic Dialogue on Biological Security. This builds on the 2021 New Atlantic Charter and the 2023 Atlantic Declaration on Economic Security and is underpinned by both the UK Biological Security Strategy and the U.S. National Biodefense Strategy. This reaffirms commitments to collaboration towards the shared ambition of bolstering socio-economic resilience to the growing threat of biological threats.
