The World Health Organisation’s (WHO) international horizon scanning and learning reports were originally established as part of the Covid-19 Public health response, to support a dynamic response and recovery in Wales. The scope of these reports has since been expanded to include priority topics for public health, including health improvement, promotion, protection and public health care
The latest report Embedding Prevention in Primary and Community Care Report 47 is now available online and follows the September 2023 publication of Report 46: Five Essential Conditions for Health Equity
In addition, UK leading WHO researchers have now published their research in the Royal Society for Public Health Journal, which applies the use of the Social Return on Investment (SROI) Framework to public health interventions ensuring maximum value for money to society, economy and the environment.
