The UK Parliament Energy Security and Net Zero Committee has launched an inquiry to assess the current and future role of the UK manufacturing industry in low-carbon energy projects. The inquiry aims to determine the potential for UK supply chains within the low-carbon energy sector, examine the government’s support for the industry, and the impact of a more localised supply chain on meeting targets for decarbonising electricity by 2035.

The committee invites submissions from those who can provide evidence relevant to the inquiry’s questions, which are provided in the Call for Evidence. The deadline for submitting evidence is 5th January 2024.
