The United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction has produced a new report distilling good practices from the findings and recommendations, identified in The Midterm Review of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030.

The findings have emerged from the collation of over seventy Voluntary National Reports (VNRs) submitted by Member States following national consultations and reviews, as well as formal submissions of non-State stakeholders, meetings, interviews with experts and practitioners, policy documents, strategic and guidance documents, and thematic studies. Bringing this global expertise to scale will be critical to accelerate progress towards accelerating implementation of the Sendai Framework and thus risk-informed sustainable development.
