In this article for Resilience Forward, Robert Hall, former Executive Director at Resilience First, explores the UK Government Resilience Framework, arguing there are still considerable gaps that are yet to be identified and adequately addressed. These gaps include a well-defined vision of national resilience with supporting targets and standards, a lack of clear plans and measurable outcomes, and most significantly, a lack of supporting architecture to facilitate national resilience such as a Ministry of Civil Protection.
