On 21st December 2023, Cabinet Office published meeting notes from the UK Resilience Forum fourth meeting which took place on the 19th July 2023, chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister, The Rt. Hon. Oliver Dowden CBE MP.
The notes reveal that the Director of the Cabinet Office Briefing Rooms (COBR) Unit presented a Risk Forward Look of significant risks which could occur over the next six months. The Cabinet Office Head of Resilience summarised policy developments in respect to the UK Government Resilience Framework, and reiterated government commitment to continued engagement with stakeholders on resilience. The meeting concluded with agreement that cyber-security and resilience would be agenda items for the next meeting, to be held within the next 6 months.
