The UK government’s new Plan for Water takes an integrated approach to managing the water system. It addresses pollution, boosts water supplies through investment, regulation, and enforcement, and aims to transform the management of the water system.

The plan includes case studies and examples of implementation. By reducing pollution, securing a plentiful supply of water, and improving water quality, the plan aims to reduce drought, support wildlife, increase flood resilience, and mitigate environmental hazards. This can help ensure the resilience and sustainability of our water resources for future generations.
