International Science Council (ISC) think tank, the Centre for Science Futures, has published a discussion paper titled “Protecting Science in Times of Crisis“. The paper provides a strategic framework for the global scientific community to anticipate and prepare for crises using systematic and coordinated approaches to crisis management. The paper recommends enhancing resilience, building capacity, improving coordination and information-sharing mechanisms, and advocating for science in post-crisis recovery and rebuilding efforts.
