The UCL Warning Research Centre is hosting its international conference in London from September 11-13, 2023 to explore effective warnings for managing vulnerabilities, hazards, risks, and disasters. The conference will integrate different approaches to public engagement and bridge research, action, and policy. Keynote speaker Mami Mizutori will launch the conference virtually, and it will feature scenario events, stakeholder mapping, mind mapping, and discursive events. The UCL Warning Research Centre is the only facility dedicated to designing, implementing, and maintaining effective warnings.
