C2ES, Resilience Rising, and Resilience First have launched a new Corporate Climate Resilience Pathways initiative. The Initiative aims to inspire private sector action towards climate resilience. It was developed in collaboration with nearly 70 thought leaders in climate, sustainability, strategy, and risk management. Leading to the publication of the Climate Resilience Pathways: Catalyzing Private Sector Action report, which sets out principles aimed at inspiring decisive private sector action.

The report explains why businesses should invest in climate resilience and presents principles that aim to accelerate meaningful business resilience action towards climate resilience. The principles aim to foster a common understanding among industry leaders about corporate leadership. They suggest that companies leading on climate resilience should be proactive, transparent, accountable, safeguarding, enhancing, inclusive, equitable, and transformative.

The principles are designed for private enterprises globally. They aim to encourage a common understanding among industry leaders about corporate leadership and accelerate meaningful business resilience action towards climate resilience.
