Capabilities in Academic Policy Engagement (CAPE), funded by Research England, is a knowledge exchange and research partnership between UCL and the Universities of Cambridge, Manchester, Northumbria and Nottingham in collaboration with the Government Office for Science, the Parliamentary Office for Science and Technology, Nesta and the Transforming Evidence Hub.
The CAPE project has been focused on demand-led outcomes, producing a Project Scope template designed to assist others wanting to undertake co-production and co-development-based projects involving partnership collaborations between university and policy stakeholders. The template provides a pragmatic step-by-step user guide with prompts, tips, links to further information, and critical questions for reflection.
