Climate change will significantly impact the health, well-being, and equity of people in Wales. Health Impact Assessment (HIA) is an evidence-based public health approach that evaluates policies and plans’ impact on health and well-being. HIA aims to help public bodies and organisations prepare for and respond to climate change events, promoting policies that protect vulnerable populations and reduce health and social inequalities in Wales.
