The British Academy has launched a new open funding call for researchers’ applications on environmental resilience and climate action proposals. The call is open to researchers in the UK, and Brazil, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Malaysia, Philippines, South Africa, Turkey, Thailand, and Vietnam. Researchers are invited to propose projects designed to deliver policy-relevant research that will generate new insights into the policy challenges relating to environmental resilience and climate action. This call is supported by the UK’s International Science Partnerships Fund managed by the Department for Science, Innovation & Technology, which will provide funding for an 18-month duration and up to £200,000 awarded on an 80% total economic costing basis, with projects required to commence from June 2024. Applications can be made online through the British Academy’s Grant Management System before 5:00pm on 10th April 2024.
