This open-access book, “Quantifying Climate Risk and Building Resilience in the UK,” draws together vital research from the UK Climate Resilience programme. Focusing on topics central to the programme’s research agenda, Including improved characterisation and quantification of climate risks, enhanced understanding of the management of climate risks, and the development and delivery of climate services.

The chapters address challenges inherent to undertaking resilience research, including making the term ‘climate resilience’ usable and valuable to facilitate the co-production of research between academics, policymakers and practitioners, alongside engagement and communication beyond academia.
