Sustainability West Midlands, in collaboration with the Environment Agency, has published a new tool for building resilience to climate change into health care systems. The guidance has been developed in response the growing risk of climate change impacts on public heath and heath care systems. Despite the enormity of the growing risk, little has been done nationally to support the NHS and its services to adapt to the risks from climate change. In response to this Sustainability West Midlands and the Environment Agency have developed this tool as a suite of resources to support NHS Trusts in adapting to climate change and reduce risk.
