The UK Climate Resilience Programme (UKCR) is a £19m scientific research project which ran between 2019 to 2023. It was jointly led by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and the Met Office.

The aim of the project was to fund research  “to help understand how to quantify the risks from climate change and build climate resilience for the UK”. With the project intending to deliver  “usable outputs” to “directly support decision-making” by government, local authorities, communities and other stakeholders.

The Final Conference took place on 8-9 March 2023 at the Wellcome Collection in London. The event was organised by the UKCR champion team, together with programme leads at the Met Office and UK Research and Innovation (UKRI). The conference was also livestreamed – links to recordings of each presentation are available.
