REACT Disaster Response has joined British Red Cross and other founder members in the National Charitable Partners Programme. The programme aims to provide swift and thorough assistance to individuals affected by emergencies in the UK. Partner charities have created packages that can be quickly activated after floods, fires, or terror attacks. The packages offer financial, practical, psychosocial, and mental health care. Collaborating with other disaster response charities can enhance the response to future emergencies. The National Emergencies Trust’s Survivors Advisory Forum suggests that sharing experiences and insights can assist in reducing costs, improving outcomes, and avoiding duplication.
