This year the research focused on the cost of living crisis, as this has had significant socioeconomic effects. Research highlights the impact on Hampshire’s VCSE sector, particularly; finances, volunteer capacity, and service delivery. However, the extent of its impact is yet to be realised as the situation appears to still be unfolding. Importantly, the report found a number of organisations were still recovering from the pandemic and now the cost of living crisis has brought additional pressures. A situation also being felt by local communities, resulting in an increased need for VCSE sector support.
